Debbie Gamarra, CSW
(she/her)

Debbie is a first-generation Latina therapist and a deeply compassionate clinician dedicated to walking alongside individuals on their healing journey. As someone who has personally navigated the complexities of being a first-generation student and professional, Debbie brings cultural sensitivity, empathy, and deep respect for each client’s unique story.

Debbie is especially passionate about supporting the Latino community and individuals navigating bicultural or first-generation experiences. She creates a welcoming space where cultural identity is not only acknowledged but valued as an important part of the healing process.

Debbie's approach to therapy is trauma-informed and client-centered. She believes that healing is not a one-size-fits-all experience; it’s a personal and powerful process of reconnecting with one’s self, values, and inner strength. Her work is grounded in collaboration, cultural humility, safety, and curiosity. She meets clients exactly where they are and honors the pace at which they’re ready to grow.

In her clinical work, Debbie supports clients experiencing anxiety, depression, identity concerns, life transitions, grief, and relational stress. She draws from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based care to tailor sessions to each client’s needs and goals.

Debbie is committed to continued growth and expanding her capacity to help others heal. She considers it a privilege to witness her clients' resilience and to hold space for their truth, insight, and transformation.
